Quintic Ball Roll Product Table

Quintic Ball Roll utilises a high-speed camera (1080 frames per second) to track the putter and golf ball throughout the impact zone of either a right handed or left handed player. The system automatically measures over 60 parameters regarding the putter and ball, both graphically and numerically. The data is instantly displayed within the software for immediate analysis, review and intervention.

Quintic Ball Roll has been designed for the various needs of our worldwide clients - including putter fitting specialists, teaching professionals, putter manufacturers, research and development and, of course, the golfer themselves!

Quintic Ball Roll Systems – Indoor and Outdoor Use:

  • Quintic Ball Roll Indoor Systems - Designed for clients who want to use their system indoors (only a minimum area of 3 metres x 4 metres required).
  • Quintic Ball Roll Outdoor Accessory Packs - Available separately and includes everything a client needs to use their Quintic Ball Roll Indoor System effectively outdoors.

Ability to select which variables are colour-coded within the software. Allows player/coach to focus on certain variables without being distracted.
Ball and marker tracking, for both indoor and outdoor mode
Smooth playback and 'Ball Test' identification
Ball Test displays - Ball and Markers Found, Ball Found, Markers Not Found or Ball Not Found to help users adjust their setup
Custom Summary Page - Ability to select which variables are displayed in the new CUSTOM Summary tab
Putter Fitting Flow Chart
Synchronises with the Overhead Putt Tracker
Option to turn Ball Marker Trackers off - allowing outdoor use without LED Bar Light - no ball spin data will be recorded
Auto-Exposure for Outdoor Mode
Front Screen Expander - Expands the video window to hide the variables if they are not of interest
Custom Variables - A slider that displays only the variables chosen in the Custom window for the current putt
Auto Start Putt - Allows the system to recognise the golf ball and markers, ready for the player to hit the putt
A total of 6 averages can be created and each average can be displayed independently
Metronome - single or two tone audio beep options to help the tempo of the putting stroke
Gain settings have been added to allow the image brightness to be increased whilst keeping the exposure low, resulting in a sharper image

Club marker positions at every frame
Impact Face Angle, Shaft Angle, Attack Angle, Lie Angle and Club Twist values
Impact Club Speed, Impact Ratio and Face Rotation values
Clubhead Attack Angle profile Pre and Post impact, including low point position
Address clubface angle, shaft angle and lie angle is recorded the moment the player initiates the backswing
Static / Dynamic loft calibration and measurement
Difference between impact and address for the face, shaft and lie angle values
Clubhead speed and acceleration pre and post impact (including immediately after impact) and % drop in speed at impact
The projected direction of the ball relative to the impact face angle with an adjustable animation (push/pull) including push / pull table for holing putts between 2 and 20 feet
Graph showing Shaft Angle profile Pre and Post impact, including Pre to Post symmetry line and shaft deflection value
Graph showing Lie Angle profile Pre and Post impact
Graph showing Attack Angle profile Pre and Post impact, including a low point value, ie the position at which it occurred
Graph showing Face Angle profile Pre and Post impact, including Pre to Post symmetry line
Colour coding for Attack Angle and Face Rotation
Colour Scales for Club Pre/Post-Impact Acceleration, Attack Angle, Face Angle, Lie Angle, and Club Twist. Any variable which has its own colour coding can now be clicked to display a scale. An arrow is displayed to help the golfer appreciate how close they are to striking the ideal putt
Face Angle at Low Point on Attack Angle graph
Showing club twist image on club speed / acceleration graphs
Educational Images for Impact Club Speed, Shaft Angle, Pre/Post Impact Face Rotation, and Impact Ratio
Range colour images for all Ranges in the Summary
Visualisation Window: A new window which uses the face angle, speed at zero skid and chosen stimp to predict where the ball would have finished in the real world on a flat surface - allows full session to be viewed in one go and grouping of putts to be analysed
Visualisation: Ellipse area calculation added & a real hole has been created for the ball to fall into
LIVE Club Feature - Ability to display live face, lie and shaft data for a Putter held in position. Also has the ability to select audio Biofeedback i.e. The software will provide an "audio beep" when the club is inside/outside a chosen face, lie or shaft angle range
